UNIFORMS/HOME & VISITOR
ASSIGNMENTS:
A. The first named team will be
the visitors and will wear dark colored uniforms. In the event the
Home Team is the first named team it shall wear dark colored uniforms
but have choice of bench.
B. The second named team will
be the home team and will wear light colored uniforms.
C. Schools who are unable to
comply with A. and B. above must notify the tournament director who
shall coordinate and/or approve necessary adjustments before the day
of the game.
D. The basket for each team for
practice before the game to shoot at for the first half shall be the
one furthest from it’s team bench. |

Tournament Admission Information:
● Sectional
Season Tickets are $10.00 each.
● Single Session Tickets are $6.00.
●
No
pass-outs issued during the tournament.
● Complimentary
tickets shall be confined to those directly connected with the
tourney. A list of the complimentary tickets issued must be submitted
to the IHSAA. Participating schools shall be provided 22 complimentary
tickets, intended for players, student managers, statisticians, trainer,
coaches, athletic directors, principal, etc.
Note:
Only VARSITY CHEERLEADERS,
in uniform for their respective session, will be admitted without charge.
Charlestown High School is a Tobacco Free Campus.
Tournament Directions & Parking
Information:
Charlestown High School is located one block east of Indiana
State Road #3 (Market Street) off Park Street. Park Street is one
block south of the intersection of Indiana State Road #3 and Indiana State
Road #403. The campus is easily accessible off Market Street via Park
Street, Monroe Street, or Pirate Place.

The
Charlestown High School campus includes ample and well lighted
parking accommodations.
●
The SOUTH EAST PARKING LOT (accessible via
Park Street) is designated for public event parking; and is located directly
in front of the CHS Sports Arena main entrance.
● The NORTH EAST PARKING LOT (accessible from Pirate
Place) is designated for tournament officials, staff & faculty, team buses,
and VIP parking; and is located adjacent to the CHS baseball/softball
complex.
Tournament Rules and
Restrictions:
The Indiana High School
Athletic Association and the Charlestown High School Athletic Department
remind fans of the following rules/restrictions for attending students and
fans of high school post season contests:
A. Balloons, banners and/or posters, etc. are
not permitted.
B. Cowbells, and other such noise devices,
banners, shakers on sticks, signs, posters, etc. are not permitted.
C. The use of
high school pep bands at this IHSAA tourney is permitted.
D. No live animal mascots are permitted.
E. Line-up lanes of fans shall not be permitted
on the playing floor at any time.
F. Carry-in radios, cassette, CD players and
tape decks, etc. are not permitted on the playing floor.
G. The throwing of articles, including toilet
tissue, is not allowed.
H.
All Fans in attendance will be
expected to wear shirts.
