The 4th Annual Pirate Pride All Sports Recognition Dinner & Auction will be held on Sunday, May 1st, 2011 in the Auxiliary Section of the CHS Sports Arena at Charlestown High School.  The event, sponsored by the Charlestown Pirate Pride Booster Club, recognizes the student athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers of all Charlestown High School sports, including the Marching Band of Pirates.  Back by popular demand, the event will again be catered by the legendary Schnitzelbank Restaurant of Jasper, Indiana.  Doors will open at 4:30 pm and dinner will begin serving at 5:30 pm.  Don't miss this opportunity to not only support Pirate Pride's efforts in bolstering Pirate and Lady Pirate Athletics; but also help the community recognize all our outstanding high school student athletes in each sport.  It's a relaxing, enjoyable, family atmosphere event that hundreds regularly attend each year.....especially this year, as this is planned to be the final organized event in the Charlestown HS Dunn Arena before its demolition early this summer.

$50,000 HOLE-IN-ONE CONTEST:

If your Pirate Pride All Sports Recognition Auction total contribution is $200 or more you are eligible to participate in the $50,000 Hole-In-One Contest on May 4th, 2011 beginning at 7:00 pm at Hole #3 of the Hidden Creek Golf Course (Rainout date May 5th)!  If you qualify, you MUST register at the end of Sunday's Recognition Dinner & Auction if you want to participate in the Hole-In-One Contest.  NOTE: All Indiana High School Athletes are ineligible to participate in the Hole-In-ONE Contest.

In addition to the full course dinner and sports recognitions, silent and live auctions were held of a multitude of donated items and services.  Proceeds of this event will be used to benefit all CHS athletic teams in purchasing equipment for the new high school weight room facility, as well as other similar CHS Athletic projects.  The inaugural event raised over $15,000.00 toward the same cause in 2008, and was attended by nearly 600 supporters; with the 2009 event producing similar results.
