Charlestown
Pirate Pride is an athletic booster club for all Charlestown
Pirate student athletes, and an independent organization approved by the
Greater Clark County School Board. Pirate Pride is centered around
unified member support for all athletic events and organizes fund raising
opportunities for financial support for all nineteen varsity sports at
Charlestown High School. Pirate Pride works to enhance community
involvement in all sports and helps develop a support network for extra
curricular activities. Join Pirate Pride today, meetings are held the
1st Monday of every month, beginning at 6:30 pm in the Charlestown High
School Media Center. |

Channel 32 Team of the Week!
Fred Cowgil will be
here tomorrow at 1:00 to present the team with a trophy and do a couple of
interviews.

the Charlestown Pirates claim the Championship trophy of the annual
Charlestown High School Soccer Invitational.
Game 1 - Charlestown defeated Rock
Creek Christian High School 4-1
Championship Game - Charlestown
defeated Home School 6-2.

28 - 24 Thriller:
Charlestown Pirate
Football
opened 2008
conference play against pre-season favorite and conference rival Brownstown
Central. The game, which was billed at the Louisville area game of the
week by WHAS TV HS Game Time, lived up to the hype.
